ABOUT

  • BROCKET LONDON was established by Artist, Jack Bullen and Curator, Lizzie Glendinning in 2014 to support emerging to mid-career artists with a particular interest in reimagining art historical techniques for contemporary audiences. We have been the first to exhibit many well-known names over the past 9 years, and had a gallery project space in Kennington, London until 2019.

BROCKET launched Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair in 2016, which has gone on to become the worlds largest dedicated contemporary original print fair, showcasing the best in contemporary printmaking from independent artists, well known names and specialist galleries from across the globe.

POST Covid-19, the gallerists have remodelled their concept, with the now private gallery and consultancy giving a smaller portfolio of artists greater opportunities, introducing a residency programme in their new North Pennine rural outpost; central London and wider UK showcases; and partnering with like-minded collections, individuals and institutions across the globe.

  • Brocket Gallery is pleased to announce a new residency programme beginning 2022, giving artists the opportunity to spend time exploring, seeking inspiration and gaining valuable research time, at the gallery’s new rural outpost in the AONB North Pennines.

Working with local institutions to bring new audiences to their work, the Residency hosts an Open Studio and Artist Talk, and is followed by a solo exhibition of work in London and in partnering North East based locations.
