Jerome is a practicing architect and artist living and working in London. His drawings form part of an ongoing project, Eden Decayed that depicts an Arcadian community inhabiting a scorched landscape.
Jerome is interested in designing buildings for people living far enough from the city to organise themselves by eccentric and arbitrary rules. The drawings are part construction information and part abstract artworks - they are depictions of architectural space as well as a means to explore new ways of building or thinking about architecture.
He currently works for James Gorst Architects on large rural private houses and conservation projects in London and previously worked for the artist Charles Avery where he assisted in the production of large-scale drawings for his ongoing project The Islanders. He also spent some time in India working in the workshop of Studio Mumbai and has led technical drawing workshops at CSM and the Architectural Association.
